Well weathered leather Hot metal and oil... the sent of country air. The motorcycle is really the only way to travel. We had an amazing time the weather was good and the roads windy and the speed high. It is such an adrenaline rush taking mountain corners at 110 - 120 kph watching the cars rapidly disappear behind you. I have posted some pictures there are going to be some additions in the near future... |

well, we are spending our first day on the island. In Nanaimo we got up this morning and hit a laundry mat, with web access... so in the laundry time I am uploading all the pictures we took to date. :-) much easier then trying to post them here. more storage using picasa web also... The trip is going great, we are hoping to stop at the pub with the goats on the roof... heard about it on the ferry ride over from the main land. |

Well we finally made it to the island. We had a few long days and some amazing roads to come through ... Pictures will have to wait until the end... but let me tell you bombing down the side of a mountin at 120 Klicks... and the corners... we scraped the foot plates a couple of times. Tonight we are staning at the Buccanner inn in Nanaimo and it is an amazing place. Highly recommended. the hosts are really cool. If you are ever staying here It is the only place to be. Well need to get to bed now... off to the other side of the island and some more crazy corners. |
